In order to secure the best venues and allow for sufficient time to market, we recommend planning your retreat at least a year in advance.

Trips are operated in partnership with Earth Spirit Tours, a licensed tour operator inside Thailand who specializes in providing high quality tours for small groups particularly in the wellness and culture sectors.

In order to confirm your retreat, Earth Spirit Tours requires a signed contract and $1,500USD deposit from the teacher - signed and paid within 24 hours of selecting the retreat. Payment can be made with a credit card via Paypal. 

The deposit will be returned when the teacher completes teaching the scheduled retreat. If the teacher fails to meet the minimum number of participants deadline or does not teach the retreat, the deposit will be forfeited.

Once your booking is confirmed, Thailand Yoga Holidays will create eye catching posters and personalized photo packages, as well as share content rich articles and videos to help you connect with your students.

Earth Spirit Tours will process registrations, waivers, payments through a secure, online platform.

Should you prefer to handle registrations and payments yourself, that's perfectly fine - after all, it's your retreat! In which case, we'll drop you our wholesale per person rates and you mark them up as you see fit.

Our retreats encourage intimate, exclusive experiences. The usual minimum number of students is 9 and the maximum is 18.

In general, at least 9 students must register for the retreat 5 months before the retreat start date. If there are not at least 9 registered participants by that time, the holiday will be canceled or a replacement teacher will be found. In any case, the teacher forfeits their deposit.

If for whatever reason the teacher is unable to teach the retreat, Earth Spirit Tours will try to arrange a replacement yoga instructor so students who have already booked and paid can still experience the holiday. In this case, students will not be entitled to a refund.

In general, teachers are paid $100USD per student, per night from the 10th student onward.

Example based on a 10 night retreat :

The teacher will profit $0 with 9 students, $1,000USD with 10 students and $9,000USD with 18.

We’ll reimburse your flight expenses up to $1,500USD with proof of a receipt. Payable on the last day of the retreat. 

As a teacher, your room and board is always covered.

Of course teaching a retreat is hard work, but it should be fun too and shared with the ones you love. Your partner can join at 50% off the standard, retail price - this is your opportunity to travel, make money and enjoy a holiday as a couple.

Teaming up with a fellow teacher is a great way of bringing more students in the door. After all, if you each bring 9 students you’ll each make more money than if you teach alone with only 9 students. Let us know if you’d like to bring a second teacher onboard.

Our retail prices depend on factors such as location, length and activities included. Typically, our retreats retail for $400 - 500USD per person, per night.

Payments are usually collected in 3 equal instalments. The first instalment is due upon registration. The second instalment is due 5-7 months prior to the retreat's start day. The third and final instalment is due 3 months prior to the retreat's start day.

Registration closes 3 months prior the retreat start date. Registrations and payments are processed via our service providers WeTravel & Stripe.

Students can pay by credit card (1.4 - 3.9% fee). All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

We usually reserve 4 double rooms (1 room with 1 big bed) and 5 twin rooms (1 room with 2 small beds). This allows for maximum flexibility of private, couples and shared options.

For guests requesting a private room we charge an additional 40% of the retail price. Keep in mind that we discourage this option as our rooms are limited. As a result, it will affect the teachers ability to max out their number of participants and thus, their profit margin.

The sooner your students book, the better. In addition to offering a discount on the retreat, we encourage teachers to add further incentives such as free class passes and discounts on their local events... get creative!

In order to expose students to a wide variety of Thai culinary experiences, most of our retreats don’t adhere to a specific diet. That being said, if you prefer to restrict your retreat to a certain food philosophy, that’s also possible.

For an additional fee, we can help you capture the magic with professional photographers and compile eye-catching marketing material for your next retreat.
